Welcome one and all to the confirmed second year of Alumni Book Club!
After a Summer reprieve, it's time to begin this autumnal season with a book that came in the winter of its author's years.Persuasion by Jane Austen will hopefully convince you to join us on November 14th at 6:30pm(the second Monday of the month). And just for posterity's sake I'm obliged to say that we chose this book BEFORE the Netflix film. It's a quick read with plenty of drama and melancholic estrangement for those who find themselves too light of heart. We would love to see you there!
