“Living in the House of the Lord: Practical Ways to Move Into Advent”

Inviting all members of the PA community, including alumni and parents of alumni, to an Advent Morning of Recollection led by Sister Amelia on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 9:00 am in the Providence Academy Chapel.

 

9:00am - Reflection in the Chapel "Living in the House of the Lord: Practical Ways to Move Into Advent"

10:00am - Mass in the Chapel

Reception with Refreshments in the Antiquities Gallery Following Mass

Sr. Amelia is a member of the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia (Nashville, TN) and serves with Providence's Spiritual Formation Team. She has taught grades 6-12 Religion, Spanish, and History. Sister loves helping students to grapple intelligently with the questions of our day through the use of Moral Theology and Catholic Social Teaching. She holds a BA in International Affairs and Global Health from The George Washington University in DC; an MA in Thomistic Studies from the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception in DC; and teaching credentials from Aquinas College in Nashville.
