DESCRIPTION: UPDATE: Due to the overwhelming response, we have reached our capacity for this event and have closed registration. Dear Providence Academy Families and Alumni,A truly remarkable opportunity has just been confirmed! The 79th United States Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, will be visiting Providence Academy tomorrow to speak with our Upper School students. Providence Academy parents and alumni are also invited to join us tomorrow as we welcome Secretary Bessent.Event Details:Date & Time: Thursday, January 8, guests must be seated in the PAC by 1:30pm. Late arrivals may not be seated. Location: Providence Academy Performing Arts Center (PAC)Who may attend: Upper School students and Providence Academy parentsRegistration: All parents must register in advance to attend. Registration is required for entry.Parking & Entry: Please park in the front lots and enter through the PAC doors. Please no bags or backpacks. This special event is only for Upper School students; Lower and Middle School students will not be able to attend.I was moved to learn just yesterday that Secretary Bessent wished, during his brief visit to Minnesota, to have a forum to speak to students.
